Where do oranges come from?
Oranges derive from orange trees known as citrus x sinensis. They are a well-known fruit that are known for containing vitamin C and for its sweet taste! Other than being a good source of vitamin C, oranges also contain thiamine, folate, potassium, fiber, and protein. Both thiamine and folate are vitamin B derivatives. One health benefits of oranges (specifically orange juice) is that it can help with the heart by decreasing the chances of having heart problems and high blood pressure! Oranges contain flavonoids and fiber, which both help lower cholesterol.
